Editorial Reviews:
Book Description When Howard Paap married an Ojibwe woman over 40 years ago, he gained entry to a Native American world seldom entered by Causasians. In "A Northern Land," Paap writes about various aspects of the Ojibwe culture in northern Wisconsin from fishing to progressive dinners and share his insights about the people he's met. Most important of all, he offers a different view of life than most of us have.

Words to ponder... words to enjoy August 21, 2003 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
In reading a first book by any author, I feel some trepidation. I need not have feared that with this literary work. The stories and associated musings by the author provided myself with an all too brief glimpse into a world that many people should be more aware of. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to his next efforts.
